BAE Systems, the premier transatlantic aerospace and defence Company has nominated Concurrence for one of its annual “Chairman’s awards”. The awards, which recognize innovation, business excellence and performance improvement initiatives, are held each year with nominations from across the business being put forward.
Concurrence, the worlds leading bid & proposal submission tool, has been deployed across a number of operating divisions within BAE Systems but this initiative in particular reflects the success of Concurrence within the Naval Ships division. Concurrence has been praised for its ease of implementation, which has delivered performance improvement, operational benefits and a significant number of customer benefits to both internal and external customers and sub-contractors; in particular, the packaged delivery of the CV(F) Shipbuilding RFI and RFQ's was singled out for praise by the Aircraft Carrier Alliance – the evaluating body.
As a result of this success the tool has been identified as “best practice” by the Centre for Performance excellence (CfPE) and in addition to Naval Ships, Avionics, INSYTE, and the CfPE itself, a number of other operating divisions are looking to deploy Concurrence.
