Annual APMP Conference

QND are corporate sponsors of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and as such are keen to promote both the organisation itself and its annual conference - we believe that both offer considerable value for any proposal or bid professional. As part of our sponsorship package we are entitled to invite a number of guests to the conference - we would therefore like to offer a free place at the conference (normal cost £160) to the first 5 respondents to this news article.

As a fellow professional within the Bid and Proposal market you may have heard of the APMP - although you may not know too much about the organisation itself. The APMP's mission is “...to advance the arts, sciences, and technology of new business acquisition and to promote the professionalism of those engaged in those pursuits.” It is an international organisation with approaching 2500 members worldwide, including a presence in the US, UK and Holland, with new chapters about to open in Scandinavia, Australia and South Africa. There is an accreditation process in place to allow proposal professionals to demonstrate progression and regular events to share experiences, best practice and general networking.

The annual APMP conference is due to be held near Abingdon (Oxfordshire) in October - its theme is “Achieving the work-life balance” and will comprise presentations, workshops and exhibitions over a 2 day programme.
