Concurrence Advanced Features

Our two key aims in developing Concurrence were to ensure ease of use and allow Concurrence to be adopted by customers without the need to change any internal process. However, if you want more, Concurrence also has a host of more advanced capabilities that are available to you:

Microsoft Office Integration

One of the most powerful and commonly used tools in Concurrence is the ability to specify the point at which a document opens, rather than simply defaulting to the top. This is achieved by bookmark and workbook linking for Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel documents. So you could evidence a win theme by opening at a point in a document that highlights how you are compliant with a certain aspect of a bid. Or, navigate to a specific spreadsheet to highlight a proposed cost saving.

Version Control

Concurrence saves a huge amount of time through the whole lifespan of a project; providing timely benchmarking and assisting with review stages. To achieve this, Concurrence must be able to keep track of your source documents as they mature; wherever they are on the network and as their filenames change to reflect the document version. Concurrence has a powerful version control engine and is supplied with two standard options to ensure your project stays up to date at a click of a button. Concurrence also has an optional tailoring engine, which we have optimised for a number of customers, to ensure that Concurrence integrates with their specific naming conventions.

Security

The majority of time, Concurrence is used to publish content to a trusted audience, but sometimes you may want to ensure your content is only visible to a nominated group or becomes un-accessible if misplaced or lost. Concurrence includes a layered security model that can be easily specified at a different level to suit each individual project.
